About the Team:

The Delivery and Transformation team in Belong is the home of agile delivery craft and drives the execution aspects of Belong in our eight core Missions. Additionally, we support, ways of working and provide coaching services to our supporting Functions across the business. We are responsible for the system level efficiency for getting work done, and pride ourselves on being highly accountable in our approach, measurable in our accuracy and efficiency, and transparent in our processes and decision making.

About the Role:

This is a dual hat Senior BA and Delivery Lead (Scrum Master) role responsible for end-to-end ownership of the requirements and supporting problem solving to promote and deliver intuitive solutions which are important to the customer. The successful candidate would work collaboratively with business representatives, Business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technology leads who performs due diligence to support Belong's investment, add value and drive the delivery of solution outcomes across the business.

The preferred location for Applicants is Melbourne but other applications from other locations will be considered for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities:
As a BA your key responsibilities will include

  • Partner with key stakeholders to facilitate and support new and in-flight initiatives in ideation, discovery and delivery according to the Belong ways of working and ensure solution outcomes are aligned with business expectations.
  • Lead delivery scoping, compilation of key requirements, customer journey and process changes with key stakeholders to understand the rationale for change and what they are looking to achieve.
  • Solid experience in Regulatory Compliance and Cyber Security projects in the following areas to mitigate risk of breaches and penalties under the Belong's service obligations and compliance accountability.
    • Mapping compliance code / policies into requirements to initiative assessment framework, business processes, technology platforms and data asset groups.
    • Create compliance governance process for Risk identification and mitigation, Controls assessment and monitoring.
    • Identify interdependencies and cross-functional business and technology impacts across our Missions and business functions.
    • Create or maintain existing business blueprints (including service blueprint and process design) to capture customer touch points.
    • Facilitate the planning and support business readiness activities.
    • Be an active member of the BA practice to drive improvements in the BA capability.

As a Delivery Lead your key responsibilities will include

  • Facilitate required planning (eg. PI planning, Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives), in ensuring to create a plan that is achievable and meets the business needs
  • Work with operational, sales, marketing & compliance teams to identify, size, prioritise & schedule the non-technical enabler work
  • Management and escalation where required for key risks and impediments that could delay delivery
  • Co-ordinate across domains and mission team members to ensure key milestones are understood and being managed
  • Maintain relevant metrics that help the team monitor performance

Skills/Qualifications:

To be successful in the role, you have the following qualifications or skills:

  • A seasoned BA with 8+ years' experience who has exposure in a dual hat role as a scrum master.
  • Solid experience in Regulatory Compliance projects specialises in Regulatory Compliance and Cyber Security design and practical implementation in an agile environment
  • Strong background in delivery focused environments and extensive experience collaborating across Business and IT delivery teams to deliver valuable customer and business outcomes.
  • Experience in Human Centred Design within a customer-focused team in Digital websites or Mobile App environment as a unique customer channel.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and an affective communicator. Ability to build strong relationships with product team, including influence and negotiate for a better outcome.
  • Adaptable and capable in dealing with complexities and ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and issues across numerous projects in a high paced environment.
  • Certified agile practitioner in SAFe or certified scum master is highly desirable
  • Experience in BPMN 2.0 and Signavio.
  • Industry experience in Telco, NBN or Mobile businesses.
