The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for analysis, requirements gathering, selection, development and delivery of integrated solutions for large and complex programs and Projects within. The position works with both internal and external delivery partners within the Digital Technology & Innovation team. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with integration experience.

The role is to work within the clients Corporate and Business Systems. CBS is a large division with the client's key task of uplifting technical capabilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Role they will perform) Research, analyse and document data / information specifically within the Data and Integration domains. Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders / SMEs to capture information required for the creation of complex data models and map information flows. Document data requirements for both internal and external agencies interfaces including interim and target state architecture. Work with business stakeholders to identify data required that support current and target state business processes. Ability to dissect information based on classification levels with an understanding up to "Protected" Drive the design, documentation and development of technical requirements and functional specifications using context diagram and process models; Elicit and document user requirements using various techniques which include but not limited to interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis; Evaluate proposed system solutions in close liaison with system developers to ensure delivery of solutions that are consistent and within expectations; Conducting workshops with business and technical SMEs, eliciting technical requirements supporting business, data and integration needs; Prepare technical requirements for system test plans relating to data and integration scenarios and work with the Test Manager to ensure delivery of quality systems. Manage and develop relationships with project team members and stakeholders in order to ensure successful projects outcomes and to maintain client satisfaction;

Work as an effective team member in investigating and developing options and solutions while championing business needs;

SELECTION CRITERIA (To be successful in this role, the candidate will have) Extensive experience in a data analytics role with integration experience. Advanced stakeholder and SMEs engagement skills with demonstrated experience in analysing problems, conducting gap analysis, identifying root cause and transforming requirements into technical documentation. Proven experience working as an integration/data and technical analyst, across agile and/or waterfall delivery models for major ICT programs / projects. Transformational ICT background - in house-built systems to a COTS (commercial off the shelf). Experience of documenting information for the creation of Data models. Proven experience in analysing and mapping data for interface contracts and data migration. Experience of dissecting business processes to identify data requirements. Demonstrated experience as a technical analyst in the discovery of legacy mainframe and open system applications from a business, data and integration perspective; Proven experience conducting workshops with business and technical SMEs, eliciting technical requirements supporting business, data and integration needs; Demonstrated experience as a business analyst in developing technical requirements from abstract briefs and preparing functional specifications with complex or large information systems;

Experience in analysing business / technical problems, conducting gap analysis and identifying root cause;

Extensive experience in the development of instructional and procedural documentation and presentations; Experience of using system architect to document data models is a nice to have Demonstrated organisational, time management and prioritising skills; Demonstrated superior communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and negotiation skills with a proven capacity to develop and maintain sound working relationships with end users, key stakeholders, suppliers and project team members; Exp in complex data mappings and understanding business process to drive the data requirements.
