Peoplebank is looking to hire a Systems Engineer in the BI Apps and Decisioning team of a client who will be responsible for designing, deploying and operating the clients BI and analytics applications, in line with Agile and DevOps principles.

Job Specifications
- ment and software development.
- Operational experience running highly available systems.
- Deployment and management of BI analytics and Decisioning applications, like SAS, Tableau, MicroStrategy, OBIEE, and/or PEGA.
- Deployment and management of containerized applications.
- Developing tooling for improving development processes and to support continuous delivery, change automation and ITIL.
- The ability to identify and correct brittle and poorly designed code.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Skills Required
- Relevant business and/or IT undergraduate tertiary qualifications, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in platform, infrastructure and/or vendor application management
- Strong scripting skills in at least one of the following scripting languages such Python, Bash/shell, PowerShell.
- Experience in automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc.
- Experience in containerised application deployments (i.e. Docker), and implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
