Role: Senior IT Business Analyst (Investment Funding Structure background)
Duration: 6 months contract
Location: NSW -Sydney CBD. Candidate should be willing to travel to Melbourne for workshops if required.
This role will require internal security clearance and is open to Australian Citizens only.
Tentative start date: End of Nov or beginning of Dec. There will be a usual 2 weeks' of shut down period during Christmas.
About the role:
The Australian government is introducing new legislation to introduce a new company based investment fund structure (Corporate Collective Investment Vehicles) for the Australian economy. This project is tasked to make changes to the client's systems to implement the new regime.
Senior IT Business Analysts will work closely with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and non-IT Business Analysts to elicit relevant information to define requirements for an IT solution to a business problem |
Requirements:
- Knowledge in investment banking- funding structure / CCIV- (Corporate Collective Investment Vehicles)
- Solid business analysis skills, negotiation, requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation experience both in Agile and Waterfall methodology.
- Good Process Modelling experience using Visio with an ability to go from business to functional to non-Functional.
- An adaptable personality and this is not an overly technical role.
