As a Solution Engineer, you will be a key player in delivering IT applications/systems
Some of your tasks will be - Solution design, configuration, installation, technical support, technical training, interoperability, development, and testing. And participation in customer facing activities such as presentations, technical support, venues, and training
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, support the technical solution
- Conduct technical training for our customers
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the security certification, including assist in the development of documents such as Statement of Applicability (SOA), Security Risk Management Plans (SRMP) and Security Overview Document (SOD).
- Configure and customise the applications/systems
- Tailor and deliver technical documentation on products to the government
- Support training of administrators and end users
- Contribute to the development of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and facilitate the conduct of acceptance testing by the customer
- Provide technical support and advisory - both on-site and back-office
- Develop product add-ons and drivers based on the products APIs
- Support product development and testing
- Participate in sales supporting activities
Skills & Experience required
- Military C4I systems (highly desirable)
- Tactical radios and networks (highly desirable)
- ITIL and SCRUM
- IT Infrastructure and Platforms (Windows, Linux Android based Operating Systems, Active Directory, Database Management Systems, XMPP Chat, etc.)
- Communication bearers (Radios, SatCom, WAN, LAN, WIFI)
- Familiar with one or more of the following: Java, .NET, Javascript, Angular, SQL, XML
- Hardware (Infrastructure components such as servers, as well as computing devices such as tablets, phones, laptops, detachables, etc.)
- Strongly prefer familiarity with Australian Defence terminology, use cases, practices and procedures
- Preference for ICT security experience
