My client, a century old international Banking and Financial services client are looking for a Solution Designer to help develop their current security architecture. You will actively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security solutions achieve business benefits, meet requirements and deliver innovation, risk and value objectives.
We are ideally looking for an individual who has previously worked as a Java Programmer and then moved more into a solution design role with a focus on security.
The scope of the role will see you working on an on-line banking project. They currently have the security architecture in place but will require the Designer to review this and make sure it is fit for purpose.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Identity and Access Management, Integration, Security and technical teams to deliver robust solutions for delivery.
- Lead the implementation with responsibility for the delivery of the application security architecture designs and strategies
- Responsible for defining the application security architecture with strategic business alignment towards future state
- Assumes the role of SME with regards all issues relating to application security architecture
- Collects business requirements and is accountable for transforming the requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of software frameworks (Java, JavaScript) languages (Java) database, data analytics, cloud and application container security
- Familiarity with security vulnerability and code analysis testing tools and integration with rapid, continuous development/deployment methodologies in cloud like (IaaS) environments
- Familiarity with testing web applications, browser add ins, and mobile code, using common tools (SIEM) and exploits
It is essential you have:
- Demonstrable competence in application security architecture
- Knowledge of web-based security architecture and service-based integration architecture i.e., API security, JWT tokens, Nginx, Web Application Firewall (WAF's), Network level security
