Experienced Solution Architect required for a role in Brisbane through to June 2022. Within this role you will be involved in an implementation project to initiate a statewide deployment for the organisation. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing technical design documents including Solution Architecture Designs, Component Design Specifications, Interface Specifications and Test Plans/Scripts/Reports
  • Developing engagement documents and work packages for solution design, development and deployment
  • Analysing business requirements and applying lateral and creative thinking to identify solution options as well as developing solution assessment criteria and evaluating solution options
  • Contribute to the development of functional and non-functional requirements and evaluation criteria to support the procurement of products and services
  • Engaging and leading business and technical subject matter experts
  • Securing cross-enterprise approval for the recommended solution
  • Leading the design, development and deployment of the approved solutions
  • Providing expert solution architecture advice and support to the Project Manager and the Project's governance groups.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Previous experience as an ICT Solutions Architect within a large Healthcare organisation
  • Proven expertise in leading the development and successful deployment of solution architectures for complex systems and IM/ICT-enabled business change programs/project(s) within a large, complex and geographically dispersed environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities to quickly identify, analyse and resolve technology challenges in response to business and ICT requirements
  • Proven expertise in applying solution architecture principles, practices and processes within enterprise architecture, ICT investment and governance frameworks
  • Ability to evaluate and undertake impact analysis on major architectural options and assess associated risks and issues, ensuring that the solution architecture balances function, service quality and system management requirements
  • Demonstrated experience integrating business-processes, information, application, technology and security products and support model services to deliver fit for purpose ICT-enabled solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ICT requirements to solution options and justify a recommended solution.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating and managing stakeholder groups, both formally and informally
  • A strong awareness of the data privacy requirements for healthcare related information.
