The Strategy and Architecture Section provides the architecture capability to other areas within the Department requiring Architecture expertise.
Your New Role:
- Deliver data warehouse and business intelligence solution design and assess the impact of operational system change
- Define non-functional requirements, including - security, capacity, performance, cross-capacity and cross-release concerns
- Effectively collaborate to address the concerns of all stakeholders, including the immediate team, enterprise architecture, and business, and deliver fit-for purpose, robust, solution
- Understand business requirements to develop complex engineering solutions across multiple infrastructure technology, (on-premises & cloud)
- Present and build support for proposed solutions with our business and senior IT stakeholders
Your Current Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working across IT environments in an application design or development
- Experience in coordinating and communicating the solution architecture and design of large multi-platform business systems and end user compute platforms
- Experience in the facilitation of technical teams during planning, design activities
- Experience in handling multiple, concurrent tasks, which have competing demands
- An ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to prioritise multiple deliverables, and respond under pressure with competing deadlines; and
- Formal training in architecture theory (e.g. TOGAF) or equivalent industry experience
