Peoplebank are searching for a Software Developer (Web Applications) to work for an expanding Adelaide CBD based company, to work for them on a Permanent basis.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Working as part of a team, you will develop, implement and test new software
- Maintain and improve the performance of the existing software
- Communicate clearly with management and peers
- Design and document technical solutions
Required qualifications and skills:
- At least 3+ years of experience in software development (preferably web applications)
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability
- Working knowledge of JavaScript libraries such as React
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar (or equivalent work experience)
Skills Required:
- Python and Django (albeit we are open to people with a background in PHP, Ruby on Rails or similar who are willing to cross train and learn Python/Django)
- PostgreSQL (or Oracle RDBMS)
- Unix shell scripting - desirable
- DevOps - desirable
- AWS (or Azure / GCP) - desirable
