Are you a passionate technical leader looking for an opportunity to leverage the latest architectural thinking, cloud technologies and the challenges of building new micro-services while at the same time evolving a monolith to micro-services?

Working collectively with the Product Managers and Developers, you will lead technology direction and architecture, supporting and mentoring the product teams to deliver great products.

To achieve our goal we need to be able to easily adopt new technologies, evolve our existing systems, build what we need now whilst designing for our future growth.

  • High-levels of energy to keep the team moving
  • Decisiveness and accountability

Position Expectations

  • Lead the architecture function and future technology direction
  • Assess new technologies, languages and platforms and manage their adoption into the product teams
  • Define and execute the technology roadmap
  • Lead the evolution of a monolith application to micro services
  • Lead adoption of cloud native architectures
  • Provide architectural expertise, leadership, guidance and support to Principal Developers and product teams to support the design and development of new product features
  • Provide guidelines for non functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, capacity, reliability
  • Provide architectural oversight and support over the product development lifecycle
  • Mentor Lead and Senior Developers in architecture approaches and design
  • Ensure solution designs are well documented, costed and reviewed prior to build
  • Deeply understand the business domain and how our customers use our products
  • Continuously review and improve our approach to architecture
