Software Architect

- Full stack development background required
A mining technology client is seeking an experienced Software Architect possessing a full stack software development background to design, architect and drive software projects from inception through to implementation.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, implementation and oversight of software and IIoT architecture for digital projects
- Perform solution and code reviews
- Provide technical expertise on projects and support team members and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
- Develop technical cases for recommended solutions
- Provide advice to delivery teams and clients on the design and implementation of solutions during project delivery;
- Scope and design the solution design with the team
- Work effectively within an agile environment and with multiple delivery teams
- Ensure consistent Architectural direction and maintaining high quality Architecture support during the scaling up/down of Architecture resources.
Key skills:
- Extensive Software Developer (Full Stack) background
- Previous experience as a Software Architect
- Well versed on Microsoft technologies: C#, SQL and strong skills on MVC, Vue or React JS & Single page application
- Strong ability to lead, mentor, teams all while delivering complex technology solutions
- Previous experience working in an Agile Development environment
- Extensive experience with Azure and cloud technologies
- Commercial development, architecture experience, continuous delivery practices such as CI, automated testing and continuous deployment
- A relevant degree in Engineering or Information Technology
