Snowflake Data Engineer

A leading resources client is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer for a permanent role based in the Perth CBD that requires Snowflake and Agile experience.
Please note: we are willing to consider candidates who are willing to relocate to Perth with full Australian Work Rights.
Responsibilities include:
- Data domain modelling to describe the business domain requirements
- Help the team and Product Owners in the analysis of the business domain, building the product
backlog and refinement - Utilising Visio/Miro to create process flows that describe how data interacts with business functions.
- Analytic-minded self-starter with an eye for detail and resourcefulness to create new innovative data solutions, services and reusable components.
Key experience:
- Data modelling skills including Snowflake, Advanced SQL Server, SQL with Redshift, MySQL, and Columnar Databases
- Python, AWS & Data Warehousing knowledge
- Data profiling skills to analyse datasets to design enterprise data warehouse models
- Experience with Enterprise Data Warehousing and consolidation of multiple disparate data sources
- Advanced SQL (analytical functions) and query performance tuning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skill
- Ability to interact with business and technical teams
- Must be able to interpret technical information to non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of SAP data and modules will be advantageous.
- Strong Agile experience working with Kanban boards working experience with Epics, Features, User & Stories
