About this role:
The Site Reliability Engineer will be working with the Lead Engineers within the Technology & Operations Division to deliver stability and performance of both production and non-production environments. The role will also focus on planning, building and executing non-functional tests across both on-premises and cloud-based applications.
Specific Outcomes Will Include:
- Engaging and improving the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design, through development, operation and refinement
- Running continuous improvement activities that improve service availability, latency and overall system health
- Implementing metrics, monitoring and incident response processes
- Monitoring levels of manual effort and drive improvement through automation and stability
- Contributing as part of a Scrum Team to maintain deep understanding of system functionality and architecture, where primary focus to operational aspects of the service (availability, performance, change management, incident response, etc)
You will provide:
- Technicality in building on cloud technology
- Proficiency in gathering, analysing Application and Hosting performance metrics
- Experience in Software Development Cycles (Waterfall & Agile)
- Platform experience in Linux/Windows, as well as scripting/Automation programs such as:
- Splunk
- AppDynamics
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- At least 8+ years' experience in software development or system analysis, including using Agile practices
- Application development experience among:
- Weblogic
- Oracle Customer Hub
- Oracle AIA and Service Bus Technologies
- Oracle Databases
- Cloud native Service
