About the Role

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Desk Team Lead to join a fantastic, well known global organisation.

Duties

  • Be the point of contact for reporting team members, including providing regular feedback, progress updates, and identifying potential setbacks and obstacles and working through them to achieve desired outcomes
  • Act as the escalation point for service desk issues, ticketing, client escalations and major incident management
  • Facilitate shift-left of workload from 2nd and 3rd level resolver groups
  • Manage 3rd party relationships with key vendors within the Service Desk
  • Work collaboratively with key business contacts to onboard new clients and services
  • Provide regular reports on the IT support team to track and maintain performance

Skills & experience

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software engineering or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience with managing a busy Service Desk/IT Support team in an enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft, Active Directory, ITIL, Teams, Office 365, Citrix, Networks, etc
