Our Federal Government Client is seeking the services of a user-centric Designer/User Researcher for an urgent contract role until June 2019. Within this role you will be working with a dynamic team of designers and researchers of varying levels, to bring human-centred design to the centre of policy development.

Within this role you will be required to work through problems from differing and empathetic perspectives and balance user needs with an understanding of the wants and needs of a public service environment. You will confidently conduct discovery processes, including user research and synthesis, and plan and facilitate workshops with stakeholders. You will support the development of artefacts such as user research reports, personas and journey maps.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience conducting user research and synthesising results to present to decision makers
  • Demonstrated experience in human-centred design methodologies
  • Strong experience planning and facilitating design focussed workshops with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Have a strong team-oriented ethos
