Our client is looking for a Server Engineer for a permanent position based in Sydney CBD.

The Server Engineer will:

• Work with project managers to deliver network and infrastructure projects

• Own and manage smaller projects as required

• Provide effective project stakeholder management

• Operate within the PMO

• Adhere to internal processes including call logging, change control, information security and compliance practices/standards

• Create technical documentation and transition projects to support teams

• Assist internal teams with 3rd level technical support when required

• Provide technical advisory to customers and sales staff

The position requires the following skills & knowledge:

Mandatory

• 3+ years' experience delivering IT infrastructure projects across mid-market and enterprise environments

• MSP background

• Cisco networking (switching, firewall, WLAN) knowledge and experience

• Strong Wintel and Active Directory knowledge and experience

• Office365 and Microsoft Azure experience

• VMware vSphere skills

• Relevant industry certifications
