Our client is a global IT company seeking a VMware/Server Engineer for an initial 6-month contract based in the Perth CBD.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure vCenter Server Appliance (vCSA6.5)
- Setup and configuration of vSphere distributed switches
- Physical to virtual migration using VMware convertor
- Configuring and managing Virtual Storage
- Design and implement disaster recovery across data centre using SRM
Skills
- Experience with vCenter Server Appliance
- Knowledge on vSphere security
- VMware vRealize operations suite working knowledge
- Experience with CommVault/NetBackup
- Experience scripting/automating routine tasks and deployments (PowerCLI, PowerShell)
- Experience working in large, complex environments/enterprises
