Our client provides business and data solutions to some of Australia's major players. They are collaborative, data driven, embrace diversity and like to have fun. They require multiple Senior BI Consultants (Data Analyst/Data Modeller) on a full-time permanent basis to work on some of their current projects within in the banking and finance sector.
Responsibilities Include:
- Business and data analysis
- Identifying stakeholders, enagaging them on the project, gathering and validating requirements
- Solution design and development
- Data modelling using various techniques and tools, particularly ERwin, Teradata FSDM (ER) and Kimball methodologies
- Utilising Microsoft BI suite (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS & PowerBI)
- Data warehousing and ETL (Informatica Powercenter)
The ideal candidate will have:
Technologies:
- ERwin and Teradata
- Microsoft BI suite (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS & PowerBI)
- Informatica Powercenter
- Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL server, SQL, Python, and Java
- Cloud technologies: AWS stack and/or Azure
Other skills:
- Solid hands-on experience operating as a BI Consultant/Data Analyst
- Experience and understanding of data modelling concepts and techniques
- Strong stakeholder management skills, providing service and guidance to the client
- Collaborative, forthcoming with knowledge, ideas, and advice for the team
- Understanding of data governance standards and best practices
- Proactively identify risks and mitigation solutions
- Experience designing and developing solutions
- Banking and finance industry experience is highly desirable
