Looking for a Senior Technical / Team Lead with strong management experience in Canberra for a contractual role.
Location: Canberra
Contract: 12 months
Clearance: NV1
Selection Criteria:
- 3 to 5 years (or more) experience as team leader managing senior technical teams delivering end-to-end development projects.
- 5+ years as a senior software designer and a proven ability to facilitate design workshops and process,
- Experience scoping and managing delivery of software capability within an agile framework. Demonstrated experience in all aspects of the development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to lead a team through logical problem solving.
- Solid experience in multi-server application design and development in a Java/Oracle environment, with particular focus on JSE.
- Proven ability to manage a small team and interactions with supporting teams.
- Strong communications skills and proven ability to facilitate inter-team communication and conflict resolution and produce software documentation in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven ability to apply software development best practice, leading and implementing innovation e.g. Continuous integration, DevOps
Highly Desirable criteria:
- Project management experience
- Experience with the Objective records management system and digitisation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in software design and development
