Job contract: 6 months with a view of extension.
- The primary role of the Office 365 & Azure AD Specialist is to provide expertise, maintenance and support for the Azure AD and Active Directory infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organisation's applications and all of the application interfaces which deliver the end-to-end business process.
- Office 365 is a productivity suite used heavily in the organisation whilst AD/Azure AD provides authentication/SSO service to critical applications used by retail, StarTrack and corporate users
- The role ensures Office 365 & Azure AD services are available, secure, reliant and performant. Not proceeding with the role will reduce the ability to keep existing service levels and prevent the ability of inflight and future projects such as UEUE, JAM, Next Gen Scanner, CSTSU Parcels and Privileged Access Management (PAM) Uplift Project to deliver their outcomes as required. Azure AD is tightly integrated into O365, runs our retail applications such as Post Office Portal (POP) in turn provides services to our external customer base.
- The services the role helps deliver and maintain are critical for the business to function, any downtime has direct impact on brand and financial metrics
