Our client is a leading IT solutions provider with global reach.With growth in number of projects, our client is looking for a Senior Technical Wintel Engineer to come on board.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with project managers to deliver network and infrastructure projects
- Own and manage smaller projects as required
- Provide effective project stakeholder management
- Operate within our PMO
- Adhere to our internal processes including call logging, change control, information security and compliance practices/standards
- Create technical documentation and transition projects to our support teams
- Assist our internal teams with 3rd level technical support when required
- Provide technical advisory to customers and our sales staff
- Assist with presales and technical architecture
- Stay current with industry skills and certifications
- Undergo training and certification as agreed with by Management
- Any other tasks as deemed by Management
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Experience in design and implementation in some or all of the following;
- Microsoft Operating Systems, Application Servers and Active Directory
- Office 365 and Microsoft Azure or AWS stack
- Citrix XenApp
- VMware vSphere
- SAN Storage Solutions (Pure, NetApp)
- Enterprise Backup and DR solutions
- Enterprise security products, including Symantec
- Riverbed and/or Citrix WAN Acceleration Products
- Switching and Routing with Cisco and/or Juniper Solutions
- Firewalls and other network security products (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto)
- Enterprise Server and Blade platforms (Cisco UCS)
- Ability to accurately estimate effort and resources for projects
