Peoplebank are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Consultant (Cloud Solutions) to work for a rapidly expanding company based in Adelaide.
As a Senior Cloud Consultant, you will be expected to deliver professional IT consulting services including assisting clients to manage their complex IT environments, assist with IT strategy, reviews and planning. You will need to be solutions orientated, with a consultative approach and have strong technical background in a wide range of technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist our clients to navigate an increasingly complex IT / technology landscape including assessing Cloud and other technologies to improve productivity, reduce risk and costs for clients
- Perform organisational IT reviews and audits incorporating personnel, processes and technology
- Perform IT planning and strategic alignment for clients addressing organisational requirements
- Assist clients to provide IT Cloud reviews and Cloud transition planning
- Perform IT outsourcing reviews and transition planning
- Evaluation of organisational IT risks and improvement of business continuity management (BCM) processes
- Provide Disaster Recovery design, planning, validation and testing
- Perform Independent IT procurement evaluation assistance and assist with managing 3rd party IT vendors
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge and experience with a wide range of technologies including Cloud, IT infrastructure, Communications, Mobile Devices, Security and Software Development
- Knowledge and experience in various industry verticals with a good understanding of related IT systems utilised within these industries
- You will have hands on experience delivering complex solutions in a client facing/consulting role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including good documentation skills
- Experience working in a disciplined service delivery and consulting environment and being accountable for your time
