We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Analyst to work within a dynamic team environment within a Government Organisation
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing a part or all a consulting project starting from requirements gathering and analysis, strategy and solution design, development, to the actual realization phase and sub-sequent deployment and go-live. Managing the delivery partner on a day-to-day basis, keep track of the technical deliverables, assist as needed on the technical deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading and implementing a part or all a consulting project starting from requirements gathering and analysis, strategy and solution design, development, to the actual realization phase and sub-sequent deployment and go-live.
- Validating and documenting detailed content management requirements, and translating requirements into designs
- Hands on build activities as and when needed
- Quality checks on technical deliverables provided by the vendor
- Engage with business and technical stakeholders as necessary to drive the OpenText project to a successful conclusion
- Assist the Equip OpenText Lead with project documentation and associated technical artefacts
- Provide expertise on-demand in the technical space during the OpenText upgrade and migration.
- Assist with the Go-Live and closure activities.
- Support and train the existing BaU team to on-board the new solution.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience on OpenText products
- Should have strong work experience on Installation, configuration, application patching & upgrade and supporting OpenText 10.5.x application products. Complete understanding, usage, troubleshooting of out of the box product features and functionalities
- Should have strong work experience in OpenText eXtended Enterprise Content Management solution for SAP
- Should have strong work experience in administration & troubleshooting of OpenText Content Server, OpenText Archive Server, OpenText directory Services
- Should have strong work experience on Workflow functionality, development and troubleshooting
- Should have strong work experience on WebReport development and WebReport Workflow Extensions
- Should have strong work experience on Brava Job Processor, Blazon, troubleshooting
- Should have strong work experience on Active View and Perspectives
- Should understand OpenText Document Presentment
- Should have experience on SQL Query development, Database concepts and usage supporting OpenText components and applications
- Should have experience on Microsoft Azure for Server, Active Directory and Storage products and technologies
- Should be able to perform application testing, test plan creation and execution
- Should be able to verify, plan, review, co-ordinate, perform, testing quarterly patch updates, OpenText products version upgrade
- Should be able to verify, plan, review, co-ordinate, perform, testing of Monthly windows patching, releases
- Should be able to chair regular meetings, co-ordination and supporting Business Teams. Drive and Propose Technical ideas/improvements to customer
- Should be able to deliver documentation and perform document reviews.
- Should have worked minimum 2-3 years in application support role
- Should be a proactive Team leader, Posses positive attributes and contribute towards customer and organizational goals
- Should have high level of communication skills both verbal and written in English.
