Senior Technical Business Analyst
This role is the key liaison between business subject matter experts and agile development teams. The role contributes to refine the solution to optimially meet business needs within known constraints (time, budget, quality, regulations and others).
In this role, you will:
- Enable teams to activate end to end digital experiences for customers, colleagues and partners, that are more secure, robust and scalable than ever before, and deliver them with lightning speed
- Bring thought leadership in your field of expertise to support the planning and execution of Technology's strategic priorities, contemporary operating model and business plan
- Leadership of the analysis function and systems within larger initiatives/projects to deliver enhanced customer and business outcomes
- Identify, understand, analyse and communicate the customer process and information requirements of the overall solution, through business requirements
- Develop functional specifications, describing the process and conceptual information requirements of a business requirement via appropriate methods, models and descriptions
- Review and contribute to technical designs, describing the solution to fulfil functional specifications to ensure traceability to business requirements
- Build effective working relationships with large and complex initiative/project stakeholders
To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:
- 6+ years of IT experience specialising in business process and systems analysis
- Agile SDLC experience
- Waterfall SDLC experience
- Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring
- Elicitation and Collaboration
- Requirements Life Cycle Management
- Requirements Analysis and Design Definition
- Understanding of the 3 tiered architecture (Client, API, Backend)
- Tech Savvy
- Ability to investigate Restful APIs including json configuration files
- Experiencing writing User Experience Flows (Process mapping)
- Previous experience writing User Stories including Acceptance Criteria, Business Rules, RAIDs
- Solid experience in traditional agile teams including interactions with various roles including UX, Product Owner, Development teams etc
