Our client is seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant to join their group strategy team. The team is responsible for developing market, channel and product strategies for the company. This is a high-profile role requiring someone who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities include:
- To lead quite large changes from an organisation perspective
- Designing customer go to market proposition' and operating models
- Write capability roadmaps
- Assist with business channel strategy taking behavioural science into consideration
- Develop strategies for existing customer base retention
- Lead projects and drive thought leadership
- Help develop and communicate the medium to long-term strategy for product differentiation across the business. Develop execution roadmaps accordingly
- Contribute to strategic thought-leadership and direction for Product Innovation across a wide variety of company products and departments
- Pro-actively identify and utilise strategic frameworks to solve problems
- Play a key role in driving the Product Innovation program of work, working closely with key stakeholders, to help drive our growth strategy
- Provide structure and undertake high level commercial and economic modelling and analysis which encompasses strategic rationale, financial impact and risks dimensions
- Play a large role on CEO / CFO level reporting. Eg. Board papers, benchmarking, competitor analysis
Experience and skills required:
- Experience with business focused consulting roles
- Preferably 4+ years strategy consulting experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or in house corporate strategy team
- Process improvement background
- Experience with operating model design and economic modelling
- Strong business problem-solving skills with a variety of problems
- Has a strong tool kit - problem solving, creating frameworks, commercial acumen
- Strong analytical skills that can be applied across multiple channels - be it consumer or small business or other
- Specific Telecommunications product experience / industry background is beneficial but not essential
