Our client is a high-profile Australian success story in the Cybersecurity software space who 'fight bad bots' and they are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Back End) who is passionate about software engineering combined with a data driven mindset.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Significant backend development experience
- Experience in Typescript, Kotlin / Scala, AWS
- Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, Google Pub/Sub and distributed data frameworks (e.g. Flink, Kafka Streams, Samza, etc)
- Interests in bringing application and infrastructure to life with DevOps best practices
- Good knowledge and experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, EC2 etc.), Docker, GitHub
Responsibilities will include:
- Have real involvement in the business direction of the product
- Mentoring and helping other engineers
- Build massively scalable solutions
- Collaborate closely with other product and engineering teams
