Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on strategic business applications.
The Role:
As Senior Software Engineer you will be a part of a team that delivers strategic business applications design. You will lead the design, development, and deployment high quality code and be engaged to perform regular code reviews and provide technical oversight and guidance of solutions delivered by both software vendors and internal teams.
You will be a team player with a flexible attitude, willing to up-skill yourself if necessary and provide support and guidance to the Software Engineers.
Skills and Experience:
To be succesful in the role we beleive that you have:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in software engineering
- Experience with the methodology of software development
- Experience reviewing code and providing guidance and mentoring within a software development environment
- Proficient with development frameworks such as PowerShell and .NET
- Expert in SQL Server queries and optimisation
- Ability to present to stakeholders and communicate complex issues
- Experience working with the finance industry is advantageous
