Our client is an iconic Australian enterprise, they are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer to join on an initial 8 months contract.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking and advising development activities required to deliver technology solutions that meet the business needs. Leads estimation activities and carries out system-wide development work to time, budget, and quality targets in accordance with appropriate standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently produces high-quality solutions on target
- Collaborates with project teams to provide estimations.
- Maintains up-to-date awareness of system security processes and procedures.
- Demonstrates sufficient consideration of customer needs and customer experience targets, as driven by business requirements.
For this role, you will need strong experience in the following:
- Strong experience with Java, JS, CSS, HTML, and XML languages.
- Strong knowledge of how to build REST APIs
- Advanced programming & design pattern knowledge
- Deep understanding of Enterprise design patterns and tools in the SDLC
