Peoplebank are searching for a Senior Software Developer (Full Stack) to work for an expanding Adelaide based company, to work for them on a Permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Design, test and implement features across a variety of products and micro-services
- Work on established core products as well as greenfield products and services
- Work closely with product owners and external stakeholders to deliver results aligned with our mission
- Work with a range of modern tools and technologies, primarily on the AWS platform
- Work with us to build out a scalable, cost-effective, global platform as we expand into international markets
- Support junior and mid-level engineers with task allocation, peer reviews and mentoring
Ideally, you will have the following skills:
- 5+ years of experience in back-end agile software development, preferably in Python
- Proficiency with fundamental web languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience working with front end technologies, such as React, Vue or Angular
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated experience working with one or more relational databases, across both DML and DDL
- Some demonstrated experience working on a public cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and mindset
Other desirable skills include:
- Experience in lean and agile best practices
- Experience building web applications with a Python framework like Django or Flask
- Experience designing and building standards based RESTful web services with OpenAPI/Swagger
- Experience building applications covered with automated test suites
- One or more AWS/Azure/GCP certifications
- Experience working with event streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis
