Our client is looking for a Security Engineering Lead to join its Cyber Security team. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a security architecture process as well as leading security initiatives including security policies and procedures, risk management and BAU security operations. The ideal candidate will have come from a technical background and will have manufacturing/ supply chain industry experience.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology and threat drivers
- Develop security strategy plans and roadmaps based on sound enterprise architecture practices
- Develop and maintain security architecture artifacts (e.g., models, templates, standards and procedures) that can be used to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations
- Track developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure that they're adequately addressed in security strategy plans and architecture artifacts
- Participate in application and infrastructure projects to provide security-planning advice
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Security Lead
- Experience in using architecture methodologies such as SABSA, Zachman
- Hands on experience of managing security infrastructure e.g. firewalls, web application firewalls, SIEM and log management technology
- Experience in incident response and detection
- Experience with Secure by Design
- Technical background such as Cyber, Infrastructure, IDM, GRC, AD etc
- Experience in Security Architecture
- Previous experience in managing a small team
- Vendor Management experience
