Skills and experience necessary to be considered for this role:
- 2 + years' experience developing Salesforce solutions
- Understanding of challenges that LockerService can pose when working with JavaScript Stack
- Should have some knowledge of web technologies like JavaScript, HTML/CSS and XML
- Experience with Continuous Integration, pipelines, branching and merging
- A solid working understanding of Salesforce governor limits and experience in leveraging external platforms to solve these issues
- Solid and demonstrated documentation and code commenting skills and ability
- A good understanding of Agile methodology and the Agile process (working knowledge of all Atlassian tools a bonus)
- A very strong understanding of Salesforce best practices
- Ability to quick identify and re-use helper utility code in the intended way
- Know Salesforce platform events and understand how they can be used
- Understand the key features of Salesforce Service Cloud
- Experience with JSON and how it can be used within Salesforce solutions
- Understand some of the technologies used in Microservice architectures (preferable)
- Salesforce ADM 201, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I and preferably Platform Developer II
You will have following responsibilities in the team:
- Working with project team to implement Salesforce Solution designs
- Liaising with developers from other project teams to efficiently resolve any code conflict issues
- All things Salesforce development (Visualforce pages, Apex classes & triggers, Apex test classes, Community development, Lightning components, Flows, Workflows and Business Process Builder and other admin level configuration)
- Special focus on Lightning development.
- Constructing SF web services and integrating with external APIs/RESTful/SOAP and integrating with 3rd party systems
- Maintaining high code coverage
- Manage code branches, merges and use change sets where required
- Work directly with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and SF Architects to clarify solutions
- Code in a Salesforce org with medium to high code and config complexity
