Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior SAP Database Administrator.
This is a long-term contract for 12 months with a 36-month extension option, located at our Client's Canberra location.
As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Prevention and avoidance of any kind of disaster to data in IP Australia's databases;
- Ensuring high availability, integrity and performance of SAP databases and related application;
- Installation, configuration and support of database software and work with system administrators to configure hardware;
- Undertaking specialised computing work in the technical development and support of their SAP database environments;
- Troubleshooting application database issues;
- Building and managing data environments predominantly hosted both onprem and in the cloud.
- Support both SAP BASIS and SAP HANA instances
- Updating Documentation
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Significant SAP Basis/HANA database technical expertise30%
- Experience in installing, configuring & patching SAP databases20%
- Demonstrated shell scripting and PL/SQL programming skills15%
- Experience in Performance Monitoring15%
- Strong Communication skills, Verbal & Written20%
