We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join a new eCommerce Delivery team. The team is responsible for infrastructure / application lifecycle management for the business.
The successful applicant will start off by managing two infrastructure projects. The first is an SQL server implementation and upgrade (2008 to 2016) and the second is an SDF server build and upgrade. These are high profile and important projects for the company.
The role:
- Full end to end project management of infrastructure projects that also have an application and network element to them
- manage project resources within a matrixed environment
- vendor management
- Communicating changes to stakeholders
The candidate:
- Seasoned infrastructure project manager with a diverse background including software delivery
- End to end program delivery (Business case, budget planning, requirements gathering, development and build, testing and deployment)
- SQL experience desirable only
- Understanding of organisational change, training, and understanding of competing tasks with operations teams
- technical background with experience in web, security, network and technical design
- Experience in a logistics company or on logistics projects would be well regarded.
