About the Role
Senior Project Manager with a Facilities and Asset Management background, preferably from rail industry to deliver a variety of projects. You will manage projects and deliver outcomes for stakeholders and sponsors in terms of safety, scope, quality, standards, budget, timeframes and customer expectations
Responsibilities
- Manage Fleet Maintenance projects
- Advise on all aspects of the fleet and facilities projects
- Develop production development, delivery methods and management and manage budgets
- Coordinate the projects across all operational objectives
- Deliver Refurbishment and upgrading project delivery process
- Strategy development, planning, performance and reporting
- Project and production schedule management
- Budget, procurement and contract management
- Requirements definition, analysis, and realisation
- Asset measurement planning, programming and performance
- Integration with other projects that will be updating the fleets at the same time.
- Delivery of Assets to specified requirements
Experience
- Proven success as a Senior Project Manager
- A background in Facilities and/or Asset Management of + 5 years
- Experience in Contract Management and Strategic Procurement processes are essential.
- Good understanding of Australian standards that are relevant to Rail Facilities Maintenance and Management
- Experienced across Project initiation, development, integration, scope, time, cost, quality, team, communications, risk, procurement and financial management aspects
- Have worked in a commercially focussed environment
- Proven experience in performance specifications and tender documents and the management of contracts
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary groups of employees, contractors and consultants
- Strong relationship and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to share knowledge and provide coaching and mentoring
- Understanding of strategic asset management
- Capacity to work within a large complex organisation
- Prefer understanding of the passenger/ rail industry and/ or building and construction and/ or rail operations
- Appropriate degree and project management qualifications
- Require Rail Safety Worker valid card or completed Rail Industry Safety Induction
You will need to have a valid Australian Driving licence as you may be required to travel to different locations
