Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to ITDA Infrastructure & Delivery Availability Team. The team will be aligned to Networks & Connectivity assisting in the delivery of Network Risk Mitigation initiatives.
The role:
- Management of projects utilising the group delivery framework
- Mentoring and coaching of Associate Project Managers to help develop team and individual capability
- Identification and documentation of key project artefacts (Schedule, communication plans, risk registers, financial budgets, etc)
- Leadership of project resources to achieve customer defined outcomes
- Develop, maintain and enhance relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams
- Structure project team for success incorporating required skills from within the Group and sourcing resources from delivery partner organisations
- Communicate and report project activities, timelines, impacts and implications to project team members, stakeholders and staff
- Develop robust and achievable project management plans to manage the delivery of quality project deliverables
- Balance schedule, cost and quality in reaching decisions relating to project delivery
- Contributes towards overall governance and reporting services for ITDA, which ensure all audit and compliance requirements are met.
The candidate:
- Project Experience of 5 years managing small- medium projects within a financial services environment
- Experience managing large teams of onshore & offshore resources
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing project budgets $0.5m- $5m
- Knowledge and experience in using industry recognised project mgt techniques
- Demonstrative experience of process improvement through questioning of status quo
- Demonstrated experience of project delivery with highly focused, customer centric approach
- Extensive technical knowledge of infrastructure essentials such as networking, firewalls, cloud environments, SAAS, PAAS, and virtualisation
- Experience in Common Project Delivery Toolsets, such as MS Project, JIRA, PPMC, MyService, Service-Now, Confluence and MS Office Products.
- (PMI) and formally trained
