Senior ICT Project Manager role will ensure successful delivery of a variety of spatial and data modelling/integration projects and work-packages.
The primary duties of the role include:
- Ensure that project deliverables and outcomes are in alignment with s strategic directions and management frameworks.
- Deliver the Project Management Plan (PMP) and associated documents/sections including Benefits Realisation Plan, Communication Plan, Financial Plan, Schedule, Resource Management Plan, etc., in accordance with Project Management Methodology.
- For assigned Projects and Work Packages:
- Manage all aspects of the project administration including budget/accounting/billing, contracts, meetings, documentation (Records Management included).
- Manage all aspects of the project delivery in accordance with the approved Project Delivery Agreement and Project Management Plan to deliver the Project's outcomes in accordance with the approved scope, budget, schedule and quality.
- Manage all project procurements in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Manage project scope and appropriate project change control processes.
- Manage the smooth operational transition of the project's deliverables and outcomes from project to operational management, ensuring that all requirements for transition into operational management are met prior to commencement of the operational handover.
- Provide project management expertise in the development of associated documents/artefacts, providing direct input into the authoring of these documents as required, whilst leading the team resources to provide the necessary input, advice, estimates, work breakdown, etc.
Nice to have:
- Exposure delivering projects that utilise spatial related technologies (ESRI) or MS Dynamics
- Experience using Microsoft Project Enterprise Project Management-EPM
- Qualifications/experience in ITIL
- Experience developing capability uplift strategies and plans
