The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading a project team to meet project deliverables, objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Preparing key project artefacts e.g. stakeholder management, resource management, task allocation, reporting, project board requirements, and change management plans and strategies.
  • Developing and executing activities related to end to end project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment.
  • Proactively monitoring, managing and reporting on execution of project deliverables.
  • Communicating effectively using multiple methods (verbal, written and nonverbal) and channels with stakeholders, including team and sponsors across multiple aspects of the project.
  • Actively managing the current integrated project schedule ensuring appropriate change management activities are undertaken to enable a smooth transition to BAU.
  • Delivering continuous improvements to the operating model, in consultation with the IT Project Board, Customer and Supplier.

Key selection criteria - Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

Candidates will be assessed on the following criteria:

  1. Highly developed leadership, project/program management, multifunctional team leadership skills as demonstrated by effectiveness in achieving organisational objectives and contributing to enhanced organisational performance
  2. Demonstrated achievement in the design, development, implementation and application of Prince 2 methodology to ICT projects from Initiation to Closing.
  3. Well- developed understanding of the application of change management processes and the impact of change on individuals and work groups within commercially driven client focused organisations.
  4. High level analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills as evidenced by a record of achievement in the research and solution of complex problems within a competitive environment

  1. Well-developed skills in the preparation and presentation of substantial reports and highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including proven achievement in effectively liaising, consulting and negotiating with client groups, vendors, senior management and project sponsors.

  • Agile Coaching of stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain tight governance over Agile artefacts
  • Delivering cloud-based software-as-a-service applications integrated to Enterprise Systems
