Our Federal Government Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Officer to assist in the delivery and administration of IT Procurement activities within the Department's Information Services Division. Reporting directly to the Director IT Supplier Management, the Senior Procurement Officer will work closely with key business area and IT Supplier Management Section proponents to contribute to all facets of the end-to-end procurement and contract management lifecycle.
This is a long-term contract opportunity for 6-Months, located at our Client's Canberra City location.
As the successful candidate you will demonstrate:
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in the delivery of Procurement and Contract Management administration and advisory services within an Australian Public Service capacity
- Knowledge and qualifications in Commonwealth Procurement and Contract Management, in support of the stated skill sets
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens who currently possess or are able to gain a Baseline Federal Government Security Clearance.
