About the role
- Deliver new infrastructure and network capabilities to meet customer needs, by:
- Providing required network architecture design and infrastructure design
- Implementing configuration changes on platform network devices and infrastructure components
- Provide required network and infrastructure level 4 support on Lawful Interception platforms and Data Retention platforms.
- To provide technical expertise for new and ongoing initiatives in infrastructure to work with project solution architect to come up most feasible technical solution.
Responsibilities
Acting as the Senior Network Engineer of the group to perform network design and network configuration tasks. Main accountabilities are:
- Produce network architecture design and infrastructure design against technical requirements
- Develop, implement and test network configuration changes on various network devices
- Provide required network and infrastructure level 4 support..
- Assist the solution analyst to come up with appropriate network and infrastructure requirements for individual projects.
- Ability to provide technical expertise for new and ongoing initiatives
Skills and experience
Experience in designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining large, complex network infrastructure Solutions
- Extensive technical knowledge in Data Centre design, Implementation and Support
- Cisco ACI, Nexus native switches- VPC
- Cisco Firewall ASA HA Clustering
- Cisco Firepower 9300 and FMC4500
- Juniper SRX Firewalls
- Develop, test and implement network changes on Cisco network devices, includes:
- Cisco UCS compute and network
- Cisco ACI SDN (Spine and Leaf)
- Cisco native NXOS,
- Develop, test and implement firewall changes on Cisco ASA, Cisco FMC 4500 and Juniper SRX firewalls
- Experience with NextGen Firewall features.
- IDS/IPS
- SSL Reverse Proxy
- UTM, Antivirus/anti-malware
- Ansible Tower Network Automation, YAML programming and creation of playbooks using ansible libraries and REST API'S
- Extensive experience with F5 technologies like DNS, LTM and ASM
- Develop, test and implement changes on F5 load balancers.
