Our Client:
A highly successful IT Services organization is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a 3 - 6 month contract, located just minutes from the Perth CBD.
The role:
We are seeking a Level 3 Network Engineer with proven experience in routing, switching and telephony (both data and voice solutions). We are ideally seeking strong skills in LAN, WAN and Managed Network (MPLS) environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, development, implementation and ongoing management of network solutions;
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather customer requirements and develop proposals to build and deliver simple to complex technical solutions;
- Assist in the oversight, mentoring, and training of Level 1 and Level 2 technical staff and multi-level jobs and tasks as required by clients;
- Act as the escalation point for critical network issues.
Required skills:
- Strong, recent, commercial experience working in a similar role;
- Cisco and Juniper routing and switching experience;
- Firewall solutions - Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint;
- Meraki WiFi, firewall and switching;
- Hosted internet gateway solutions;
- Complex private IP data and value added services [SR1] (WAN, MPLS, IP data);
- Wideband IP solutions (Ethernet, DSL, fibre / GPON);
- Hosted and on-premise IP telephony solutions;
- Ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
