Senior Network Architect

• 3 Months Contract in Sydney CBD
• Network Architecture (CISCO ACI-Must have)

A Large Insurance Client is in need of a Network Architect with extensive experience in CISCO ACI to work on a strategic transformation to deliver new business capabilitis for initial 3 months in Sydney CBD

The Successful candidate will:

• Primary accountable for the company's IP Networks - owns IP Network space, develops strategies and manages outcome for their IP Networks

• Develops and manages network technology road maps aligned with the company's IT and business strategy

• Defines and establishes the solution architecture, from the initial conceptual vision through to the well defined architecture specification
  Develops relevant standards, conceptual, high level and detailed designs for Data Centres, WAN and the Wireless networks

• Maintains understanding of company's IT strategy to ensure that solutions and decisions about the network requirements are consistent with the company's overall IT direction
  Deploys, implements and tests networking solutions to deliver positive outcome to business needs

• Champion contemporary & emerging infrastructure technologies

The candidate must have:

• Strong experience in IP networking/Routing and Scripting

• Deep knowledge of ITC infrastructure including Data Centre, WAN and Hybrid Cloud technologies

• Proven records in designing and maintaining Cisco ACI networks

• Solid experience in design and architecture

• Excellent communication & written skills with ability to explain technical concepts to other business units.

• Fluent and concise in creating Technical Architectural Documents

• Knowledge of APRA requirements

• Proven experience in applying best security practices

• TOGAF certification (is well received)
  Certifications in IT networking (CCNA, CCIE are well received)
