Our client, a privately-owned technology company based in Sydney are recruiting for a Senior .NET Developer to work within the Software Development team.

As the successful Senior .NET Developer, you will work on the development and maintenance of business-critical applications and cutting edge financial solutions. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing business applications from inception through to delivery
  • Requirement gathering, technical documentation and implementation
  • Utilising Microsoft .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, C# and Visual Studio
  • Working with AWS, hybrid cloud architecture, continuous deployment tools and automated build environments
  • Mentoring and supporting Developers to deliver high quality solutions
  • Collaborating with the team on the design and architecture of new solutions and features, best practices and CI

In order to be the successful, it is essential you possess the following skills:

  • 8+ years C#, WebAPI, SQL Server and Visual Studio experience
  • A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Strong API development, monitoring and management skills
  • A solid understanding of authentication patterns, security, throttling, performance and reliability
  • Strong database experience including design, T-SQL, debugging and optimisation
  • DevOps, CI, CD and automation experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The following skills would be considered as highly desirable:

  • Full stack and web development experience
  • Experience using Hangfire/Quartz or similar scheduling systems
  • AWS or Azure exposure
  • Microservices architecture
  • Financial services industry experience
