Our client a leading blue-chip company in Sydney CBD is looking for an experienced Atlassian Stack Administrator to support its software engineering DevOps team. The team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the whole company's CI/CD tool and platforms.
The role:
- Confluence / JIRA Admin services, review what's impacting performance
- Creating workflows, screens, issue types, permission schemes etc.
- Maintain availability of Staging and Production Instances
- Recommend new add-ons which could improve the performance JIRA users
- Support planned Upgrade of JIRA / Confluence
- Create governance processes for an expanding base of users
- Project, User Management, training and create awareness of how users can use the tool more efficiently
- Create and maintain Users with relevant permissions
- Implement new permission scheme for Vendor users to have limited privileges
- Extend support to the project team in user related issues against the project
- Support generation of relevant JIRA reports from dashboard feature
- Support Project teams using JIRA as Defect tracking tool and for Test Management
- Play a part in automation
The candidate:
- Experienced administrators or devops prpfessonbals lookin for more of a support role - flexible
- Atlassian stack professional - Jira / Confluence
- Supported the platform, users
- Administration, coding or configuring experience
- Preferably from a DevOps team - desirable only
- Strong subject matter expertise in the most current version of the software
- Basic knowledge of Ansible, Docker, AWS, Terraform, DevOps, Agile
