About the role
The Identity Software Engineer co-ordinates with the IdP Developers to resolve any technical integration issues, considers holistic solutions, applying design patterns that result in maintainable codebases with sound coding practices
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate Data migration tools and processes, including the knowledge of LDAP trees, use of LDIF files, and working with a migration engine architecture to achieve a large-scale data migration.
- Drive and support developer tooling utility (IDEs, Build, CI, Dependency Management, Quality, Profiling)
- Advocate for collaboration (Slack, JIRA, WIKI, SharePoint, Rally)
- Support development initiatives
- Contribute to solution ideas
- Focus and prioritise Development tasks
Mandatory Experience
- Deep understanding of best practices around APIs, API Gateways and IdP integration
- Deep understanding of Auth0/OAuth2/OIDC/MS Azure based security
- Deep understanding of IdP integration on Auth0, including onboarding of applications and conditional access policies
- DevOPs mindset
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g.: New Relic, SumoLogic)
- Strong AWS experience
- Understanding of Google Apigee (nice to have)
- Understanding the importance of API Gateways (e.g.: Kong)
- Source Code Repository (e.g.: Git)
