A business unit at a large government department is looking for a Senior ICT Operations Officer to keep its ICT operations running day to day and to work closely with its service providers and external vendors to resolve incidents and problems within the unit. An initial 6 month contract with possible extensions.
To be successful you would ideally:
- Hands on expertise with a broad range of end user and operational technologies including networking, cybersecurity, Microsoft (including Office 365, Teams, Teams Rooms Windows 10, AD, SCCM, Azure) and content management systems such as Objective ECM.
- Experience in ICT Operations including service delivery, demonstrated troubleshooting skills and support in a complex technology environment (infrastructure, network and end user computing).
- Experience managing operational change, improving processes and providing technology training to staff is highly regarded.
- Great communication skills required to work with a diverse range of stakeholders in person and remotely.
