Our client is one of the Leading healthcare insurance providers within Australia and they are experiencing considerable growth within their APAC division. They are currently on the lookout for a Senior User Experience Designer and UX/UI designer to join within their brand-new innovation and growth team. Both opportunities are crucial to the success and development of their customer centric brand.

In these roles you will have the opportunity to put your stamp and impact on this Greenfields space. This role will require the seniority and stakeholder management skills to interface directly with executive stakeholders across the wider company.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced design professional to shape the forming team's customer agenda and ways of working - driving a culture of customer centricity and experimentation.

About the role

You would be involved in:

  • Support the discovery, ideation, and conceptual design of connected future-state digital experiences.
  • Indirectly manage and collaborate with Designers to help visualise ideas and enable the delivery of experiments with the delivery team
  • Understand the needs and behaviours of the people you're designing for, to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and satisfy their needs.
  • Design and facilitate inclusive and collaborative design-thinking and co-design workshops.
  • Partner with data and analytics to develop a deep understanding of customers and customer behaviours to inform decisions and designs.
  • Work with existing HCD and Agile methodologies and inject your own practices where appropriate.

To be successful for the role, you would ideally:

  • Demonstrated experience working within an experience design discipline (Service/CX/UX/Product)
  • Understanding of both the latest digital design principles and how to apply them.
  • Be eager to keep up with the latest trends in digital experience design, UX and innovation.
  • Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate and formally present creative concepts and rationale to other team members and business stakeholders.
