Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced Senior Developer (Web & Integration) for long term contract with extension options. This role is to be worked from our Client's offices in Canberra and gives you an opportunity to transition into Federal Government Department.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Design, Build and Test Web Applications and Java Services
- Working with Analysts and Business Users to translate functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment
- Planning, documenting, and managing the deliverable tasks that are assigned to the team
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience working in Enterprise Java (J2EE, RESTful Web Services), Web Technologies (SPA frameworks like Vue.js), Containerisation (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Solid background in data storage technologies (Ealstic Search or Oracle DB)
- Proven background in delivering solutions using Agile values and practices
- Proven ability in Design, Build and Implementation of RESTful services and other SOA based solutions, public and private Web API's.
- Experience in Cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) and BPM products (Pega)
- Background in Continuous improvement / Continuous Delivery, automated testing, and monitoring
