Our Federal Government Client is seeking a DevOps Engineer.
This is a long-term contract up to 30 June 2023 with 2x12-month extension option, located at our Client's Canberra location.
As the selected candidate, you will be:
- Developing a migration strategy for Integrated Cargo System and related mainframe systems' code repository migration to Enterprise Azure DevOps aligned with enterprise and industry standards
- Setting up of Azure repositories
- Converting ant to maven builds and SonarQube configurations
- Migrating all code bases from Subversion and bitbucket to Azure repositories
- Setting up DevOps pipelines on enterprise Azure platform aligned with enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) strategies
- Migrating projects from Jenkins to Azure DevOps
- Using enterprise DevOps pipelines to establish automated deployments for all Cargo, Trade and Border systems
- Completing all migration and automated deployment setups for desktop applications.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Strong experience in DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Strong experience in managing code repositories like Subversion and Bitbucket.
- Strong experience with converting ant builds to maven.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and treat risks and issues.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality documentation.
It is desirable if you have:
- Setting up of Azure repositories
- Converting ant to maven builds and SonarQube configurations
- Migrating all code bases from Subversion and bitbucket to Azure repositories
- Setting up DevOps pipelines on enterprise Azure platform aligned with enterprise
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) strategies
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality documentation.
