Our Client:

Our client, an Iconic Australian Enterprise are currently seeking a Senior Design Researcher to join on an Initial 9 Month Contract. In this role, you would be responsible for research activities within large programs and projects across the enterprise, while aligning to and leading a central UX research function.

The Senior Design Researcher works with the Design Research Lead in driving research and mentoring a team of Design researchers to drive understanding and empathy around user needs, stated and unstated, for projects and program teams

About the role

You would be involved in:

  • Responsible for research activities within large programs and projects across the enterprise, while aligning to and leading a central UX research function
  • Creating, managing, planning and delivering research that will inform key product development phases
  • Driving best practice research methodologies and support other researchers
  • Driving discovery and validation of the customer experience as a key deliverable for projects
  • Collaborating with the Digital & Data experience team and project/program teams to deliver great digital experiences.
  • Driving research and digital leadership within the program

To be successful for the role, you would ideally:

  • At least 3+ years' experience in related role with demonstrable portfolio of work
  • Background on design thinking methodologies, including facilitating workshops with stakeholders and/or customers and using various ideation techniques
  • Applied experience: lab-based user testing, remote testing, a range of fidelity prototype testing, concept testing, contextual inquiry, survey design, competitive and comparative analysis, and other research methods
  • Direct experience with research and testing on a variety of devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
