This role requires management of the end-to-end data life-cycle of solution analysis, data operations and reporting development, releases to production, operational management, quality reporting and incident management.
The role holder will be responsible for the implementation and management of all data requirements, data sourcing, data analysis, and reporting including:
* Managing stakeholders' expectations and agreeing to a timeline for deliverables
* Owning end-to-end quality of the M&D data environment (technical and process)
* Leadership in developing and supporting Operational best practices
* Utilise SQL and ETL packages to deliver reports and extractions
* Manage Jira hygiene and ensure efficient work distribution
* Highly focused on quality internal customer experience
* Third party vendor management; Manage cloud based services (SaaS)
* Develop new processes and methods; proactively develop and implement efficiency improvements
Knowledge & Experience:
* Experience in a decision support / analysis role with demonstrated experience in leading a technical team with a collaborative leadership style across a number of data driven projects
* Demonstrated experience in producing external, executive, and operational management reporting, visualisation and analysis to enable business to gain insights and drive action
* 3+ years' experience analysing data across disparate sources
* 3+ years' leading/guiding an operations team
* 3+ years' experience managing senior stakeholders
* 3+ years' experience modelling data in a data mart or data warehouse environment
* 3+ years' experience influencing cross-functional / virtual teams
* 3+ years' experience maintaining enterprise grade data sets and volumes in the private and/or public sector
* 3+ years' experience working with data quality issues and remediation
Technical Skills:
* Strong SQL skills with relational databases
* Strong Microsoft business tools skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
* Experience in interactive data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Proven skills in defining, prioritising and organising competing tasks to meet deadlines
* Strong visualization skills and experience with Dashboards & Reporting tools
